A Dyslexic Writes

Helen Arkell Dyslexia Center

A Dyslexic Writes is the first in a series of books to be published by Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre. The main work of the centre is twofold: to assess and support dyslexic individuals on a one-to-one basis, and to provide training courses for those who will dedicate time to dyslexics in a classroom environment. This year specialist assessors and Educational Psychologists will see in excess of 1,000 dyslexic individuals. At the same time well over 100 students will graduate from the centre with a recognised qualification in supporting people with Specific Learning Difficulties.

Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre is a registered charity. It receives minimal government or local authority funding. If you buy a copy of A Dyslexic Writes part of the profits will go to the Centre to support bursaries for the assessment of those of could not otherwise afford one.

If you are looking for a charitable cause to support, for a sponsored event, or simply because you have the inclination, please contact Bernadette McLean on 01252 792400.
